Kikundi successfully conducted 2 workshops at the NTD NGO Network (NNN) conference

Kikundi was selected to conduct two separate workshops at the recent NNN conference in Tanzania. This year saw a record number of 112 applicants for the workshop sessions and Kikundi managed to secure 2 slots out of 12 finalists. Organized in collaboration with ALMA, the first workshop showcased how country programs can apply the NTD scorecard to secure domestic financing and accountability. It was attended by more than 75 in-person participants and included an interactive group activity where attendants brainstormed brand new indicators for the scorecard. The second workshop, organized in collaboration with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, dealt with the development of implementation plans for an Essential Care Package on Mental Health and Stigma for NTDs. At the end of the conference, members and selected partners gathered for a community dinner and emphasized their continued commitment to the CoP.  Kikundi is grateful for the exceptional work of the partners, the support of its members, and the great leadership of the Chair (Dr Tudu) & Co-Chair (Balla) during these workshops.
